Aries Full Moon

You have the fire within, it’s just a matter of tapping into it and not being afraid of success, the past is gone and we can only take the lessons learned and now practise creating a new outcome.

Dear beautiful reader,

On Thursday 17th   La Luna will be reaching her peak Full Moon at 12:26 pm BST, our first post the Eclipse season although we can feel the energies integrating. This Full Moon is a super Full Moon as referred to as the Hunter’s Moon, representing the time to hunt in preparation for winter.

A Full Moon happens once a month (sometimes twice) and can be used as a comic gift, a reset, if you will support yourself to check in with yourself. Checking in with any thing you would like to let go of, to support you in any new habits you would like to develop.

With new beginnings the energy of change in the air this is the time to honour these callings as she moves towards her fullness supporting the seeds you wish to grow.

As we are human beings and created with 70% water, it is only normal for us to feel the effects of the Moon closely, just like the tides. We are all so unique and different that a Moon cycle will affect us differently along with our cycles.

In ancient times, the Moon was observed to change over a 29-day period that coincided with a woman's reproductive cycle. The ancients observed how the Moon affected the tides and by tracking it alongside the sun, they developed calendars to predict agricultural rhythms. The Sun was the life-giving force, but the Moon played an important role in predicting rainfall. In this way, the moon inspired culture for the ancients, when hunter and gatherers established civilisations centred on planting and harvesting.

By connecting back to our ancient ways of being and living closer to the rhythms of nature we can connect better to ourselves.

In astrology, the Moon is associated with the subconscious and our instinctive, unconscious behaviour. Its cycles can be used to blend both the tangible and intangible. Working with lunar cycles allows us to intentionally engage our feeling nature, and how it unconsciously helps us with the law of attraction. Just like dreams, what cannot be accomplished during the day can be given over to our larger bodies while we sleep and rest in the evenings.

What does this mean for you?

This Full Moon will affect all of us but especially the Cardinal signs – Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn (am I feeling it with that Aries rising) this is due to the nature of the opposing signs and that the south node is in Libra.

When we think about Aries, we think direct, blunt, and often unstoppable. When we embody the energy of Aries, change happens. Libra, which is Aries' opposite sign,  on the other hand, is softer and often can be swayed to another side. Libra tends to see all sides equally, in order to maintain balance and fairness. But it can also make this energy less effective in creating change quickly, as the vibration of Libra asks that we first understand the whole issue from all sides before making a decision.

The Full Moon will be at 24 degrees in Aries but also creating a T-square with Mars and Pluto which has the potential for explosiveness thanks to the fact that Aries is first of the zodiac wheel and full of passion, fire, confidence and ready for action with a tendency to be hot headed.

This square will be adding its own hot sauce to the mix as Mars the ruler of Aries will be adding fuel to those flames and then we have Pluto unpicking our inner worlds and layers of what we feel is holding us back and don't want to deal with. Perhaps we may find ourselves having uncomfortable conversations and quick to react so tensions can rise but quick to extinguish. This square will be testing our skills of patience and remaining calm, how we can think before we react so we hopefully don’t have many flames to put out as there is a highlighting of frustration in the air.

This frustration in the air is going to be alot about career objectives. Once you know your purpose in life, it’s up to you to pursue it, and that can feel daunting (currently feeling this sense of overwhelm at the moment) It may also ask you to say goodbye to certain people or habits. The upcoming Full Moon helps you recognise anything that stands in the way of pursuing your purpose and then release it.

As Full Moons are a call for releasing, what is it that you can release and what has been getting in your own way when it comes to your career? Or perhaps what have you been holding onto that you could let go of in order to achieve your career goals? What thought process or narrative are you repeating?

The full Moon in Aries can help you transform your anger into motivation. It can help you tune into your internal fire and direct that fire either at yourself or into making changes that help you align with your soul. Instead of attacking yourself with limiting beliefs or self-sabotaging messages, channel your inner fire into taking action in creating the life you want to live. Stop ignoring the callings of your soul. Start focusing on creating a life that makes you feel content on all levels and leaves no room for anger over what could have been…we must accept and surrender to our current realities of what is.

It’s also important to remember we are settling into the post effects of Eclipse season, so we are allowing the changes to take place within, it’s okay to take things slowly in order to figure out our next moves. However, this could cause hot headedness and impatience and perhaps be ready to explode with frustration as things are not moving along as fast as you would like. REMEMBER to practise calmness and keeping your cool so you don’t have as many fires to put out afterwards.

It’s okay to honour these emotions and frustrations as it’s a sign that you are capable and have it within you to make the changes and also let go of the old narrative that is holding you back. With Jupiter retrograding in Gemini this is some more cosmic support for you to go over your plans and reevaluate things to bring life to those projects that have gone stagnant.

Think back  to April of this year when we had our Aries Solar Eclipse and what were you working on? You could see these manifestations come to life or the events that were happening around then coming full circle to a completion.

The fire spirit of the Full Moon in Aries asks us to focus on ourselves and our soul’s purpose, a little more selfishness to take care of ourselves and get realigned with what we want to create out of life. To align with the life your soul wants to live and let go of habits, situations, and relationships that block us. Feel into the warrior spirit of Aries and decide what you are willing to fight for in your life.

You have the fire within, it’s just a matter of tapping into it and not being afraid of success, the past is gone and we can only take the lessons learned and now practise creating a new outcome.

This Aries Full Moon affirmation: I embody the power of Aries, the fire within to manifest financial success through planning, discipline, and acts of service.

Some ways to work with this Aries Full Moon:

·Ground yourself - a gentle grounding meditation visualising your roots anchoring you in the belly of Mother Earth for support or going to the park/ nature and putting your feet on the ground with the intention to ground, inviting Mother Nature to support and ground you…you can even lay down

·Journaling whatever is coming up for you

·A soothing bath/ shower with your favourite essential oils with the intention of relaxation and soothing your soul - simmer those flames

·Meditation to quieten the mind, body, and soul to bring you back to your centre

·Working with fire elements like burning a candle and meditating with the flame

·On scrap pieces of paper, write out three words that represent the behaviour and/or feelings you wish to release and burn into the candle flame or in a bowl of water under the night sky or a quiet place in your home embodying that emotion and calling in your spirit helpers to help you release. At the end using the words “be gone, so mote it be”

·Then in your journal swap the narrative with an affirmation that is positive inversion of what you released (for example: you released “fear of being seen” the affirmation might be “ it’s safe for me to seen and share my wisdom and knowledge to support others”)

·Charging your crystal under the Full Moon sky outside or on the window ledge

·Make Moon water with an intention or affirmation by leaving a covered glass or jar outside or by the window ledge to charge

Sending you many Full Moon blessings!

Much love and gratitude,

Assunta x
